It was a scam scam scam bad deal all the way through for me, which is why I don't give that school dime one as an alumnus. Had I even gotten SOME of the baseline quasi-secret assistance provided to NIGS at that school, to you know, help them cope, I could have done considerably better. Had I not come from an arts field I probably could have done better. Had I not essentially had a nervous breakdown midway through 1L first semester and then stayed mired in untreated depression for three years I probably could have done better. It was tough--not going to lie--just didn't think like a lawyer was supposed to think. Which is ironic because now I do think like a lawyer is supposed to think, and am strangely enough a better lawyer than almost everyone I went to LS with who is still actually practicing law. LSAT score which I took WAY later, was very poor but I didn't do much to prepare for it as I was in a graduate program in in an unrelated field at the time. |
