Shit like Scooby-Doo or Animaniacs that is decades old at this point? Or will they think its lame because its not CGI animated like Paw Patrol?

Popeye was weird as fuck but good, I remember watching those with my grandparents, and to this day I always kind of associated Popeye with my grandfather (a Navy man himself)

when I was a little kid, I definitely did not pay much attention to black and white movies or cartoons. I was like "bleh, this is old, it must suck"

I wonder if kids today feel that way about non-CGI animation

Agree. In fact, you should critique your kids' choices in pop culture etc. Be an old cranky man who hates their music. Kids need to rebel against their father. Parents these days raise their kids to love Star Wars and comic book heroes because that is what they were raised with -- stifles culture.

nu rap is a derogatory word to describe this kind of rap that I heard on XO, I have no idea what it's called IRL. I just know I want Nelly and Ludacris back.

kids are fascinated by REALLY old animations and films like voyage to the moon because they are so old that they are very kooky by modern standards. claymation/animation from the 1900's and 1910's is all pretty interesting. gertie the dinosaur, felix the cat, little nemo, etc. are all pretty fascinating to little kids.
