My residence is now worth more than the houses of some of the parents of the "rich kids" I went to high school with. That means they either weren't so "rich" to begin with, or I have risen into another socioeconomic class and somehow can't really see it sometimes because I am so stressed with work.

are you comparing the zillow values of your house now versus their houses now?
remember, they are olds now and probably haven't updated their house in quite some time. |

I'm also looking at the houses of some of the rich kids from my high school who went into the top professions and I'm catching up to them even, especially if I add in one of my other properties. I'm not doing so badly I guess but it's kind of surreal. I don't have the best self esteem but I always knew I was a hard worker. Could this really be the proof of objective success? |
