I used it for a bit almost a year ago and it was a fiasco. I gave them a try over fresh direct because I already had an Amazon account and they had 1 hour delivery windows instead of 2. They were terrible at filling orders. Just huge parts of my order would be missing with no notice, they'd refund me, but you need to know what you're getting.
The last straw was that I had about a $120 weekly grocery order and the guy showed up with 1 single red onion. I called and had my membership cancelled immediately.
They could be better at this point, I don't know, but I went back to freshdirect who is consistent. I like the local places Amazonfresh has (in NYC there are some pretty good places you can order stuff from). But I have good places I can shop at nearby, I need my weekly groceries to show up.

Haven't used it, but my experiences with Instacart were terrible and I always ended up needing to go to the store anyway because they'd forget something, claim that they couldn't find something, were absolutely retarded re: substitutions, pick whatever produce is fastest re: checking it over, don't look at expiration dates, and stuff would be destroyed by the time it got to me (bag of smashed tortilla chips, mangled bread, Thanksgiving pie was delivered on its side). Not worth it at all, and it still takes time to order things on the app -- it's not like it's 45-60 mins v. 0, it's more like 45-60 mins v. 15-20 (plus the time needed after to let them know what's missing, complain about lousy stuff, etc.).
