I think it should be a combination of the Euro model, American model and Asian model, along with some new stuff like making colleges liable if students fail. Part of it is that we need to fundamentally start with agreeing that the purpose of college is to create employable people. i think that instead of politicians putting pressure on the educational model, it will be technology and the market itself. credentials are becoming less and less important, education is being less meritocratic, and more smart people are pursuing alternative paths - ie learning tech skills on the internet, for free or cheap and going directly to the market. i also think that increasingly it will be paramount for workers to reeducate, because the market needs are adapting faster

Right now Universities are simply the mortgage loan "originators" in the scam, they originate the loan, get the money and then shift the risk to holders of SLABS (Student Loan Asset Backed Securities - sounds familiar, right?) or to the Government (u & me)

If the government had recourse to the endowment of the university of unpaid loans over a certain threshold - I think that would be of some good - It would force the Universities to think long and hard about the size of their Gay Transnigger Eskimo Studies department and if it should be accepting every application.
