on the other hand, you could just give him the VIN and tell him to run it himself. if the car's important enough for him to spend 2 grand, then you'd think he would be willing to drop 20 bucks to do a little background investigating first.
i don't know, i guess you really can't go wrong either way. how much do you like the guy? is he being a dick? maybe that should play a role. |

imo, it doesn't make sense for a prospective buyer to spend $20 to run the carfax of every car he's potentially interested in. it's more economically efficient for sellers spend the $20 to provide the info. |
