It's temporary. You have a video of the guy brutally assaulting a convenience store worker, but we are supposed to ignore that, accept that the cop was lying and buy into the story that the kid was gunned down in broad daylight while holding his arms up. Oh, and then when the locals riot and burn down gas stations etc we are supposed to accept that "they have a right to be angry"
