choose a specialization that is always going to be in demand. i know a guy who owns his own sign company. that's what he does - designs, builds, and repairs signs. he makes a lot of money and always has way more demand for business than he can handle.
another good one is closets. you know how hard it is to find a good closet guy? but it's really fucking easy to design and build closets and make big profit margins
there are so many niches like this out there
