pddj's mom, sister and grandma were all sitting around in the parents' living room watching this charade unfold.

pddj's dad and i had went on an errand and we came back to the house and they were still working on pddj.

i saw pddj's face and fucking horrified at how she looked. she was wearing fake eyelashes. her face was CAKED in thick clumpy makeup. her eyes were all discolored like she got punched in the eye. the girl was working on her hair and doing that white trash look where part of the hair dangles in front.

pddj saw something was up with me and asked if i was okay. i said in front of all the goy'els and the makeup girl that she looks awful and doesn't look like herself at all.

all the goy'els and the makeup girl were horrified. i said what happened to your eyes. they all said they were fake eyelashes and that they make her look "beautiful."

i then went on an xo-style aspie rant in front of them all that this is the problem with the makeup industry, that more is better when less is more, and that this is a circle jerk (yes i used that word) where everyone is telling her how wonderful she looks even though they dont even believe it because nobody wants to be the odd one and speak out and be unconventional and say she looks like shit, and that the hairdo is white trash.

pddj's mom was fucking horrified at me, and the makeup chick was just shocked and didnt even know what the fuck to think.

pddj is very pokerfaced and just let the shitshow unravel between me and her mom. after the makeup girl left, i said i needed to speak to her privately.

she told me that she hated it too but she was afraid to say anything in front of all the goy'els and that she knows how to handle herself and she knows how to control the situation diplomatically unlike me. she said that she's gonna need to tell her mom that she doesnt want the makeup lady to do her makeup and that she'll just do it herself, and have her do a simple up-do for her hair.

after much fighting with her mom about how she NEEDS PROFESSIONAL MAKEUP and ITS BETTER FOR THE PICTURES and she NEEDS THAT BRIDAL LOOK (ljl at all this toxic wedding industry flame... she literally looked like an alien with this flame "wedding makeup", and many attractive girls do too), pddj held her guns.

she ended up doing her own makeup and looked awesome. she looks awesome in the pics just looking like herself without THAT BRIDAL LOOK toxic flame

i was over at the house on the wedding day when the makeup girl was doing all the girls' hair and makeup. she just kept giving me dirty looks the whole time.

Mrs. Jim_Kelly did her own for our Buffalo reception. My SIL was INSISTING that Mrs. use her friend who does hair, makeup, fake tans, etc. We checked out the FB page for her makeup business back then and it's awful and as you describe: People look like alien hookers. Just horrible.

I think it's even more extreme there with hair extensions, giant stuffed bras, etc. Her male cousins' wives look absolutely ridiculous in their wedding pics -- completely different than what they look like day to day.
