The remixes are even better for workouts although the tracks aren't as elegant as the originals. |

Looked bad, seemed simple, battlefields empty. I kept playing and upped the difficulty and on the battle of Chibi it really clicked. The game is hollow as fuck if it's easy, but when you're fighting for your fucking life in the moment AND you have the stress of not just staying alive but accomplishing objectives and moving the battle in your favor it becomes tense and epic. DW2 had the core down but was pretty bare bones . . . then DW3 dropped and was the absolute shit with all of the content and new stuff added. The 4-7 games and all the Empires and XL expansions have had their ups and downs and sort of run together, but I've gotta say, if you liked the old games, DW8 XL (ps4) is a true return to form and the best game in the series. Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate (ps4) is a great companion game that trades some of the polish and new features of DW8 for the most insane, action packed battles in the whole series.
