Working some depressing $60k cubicle job and coming home to a 3 bedroom ranch house in some cookie cutter neighborhood with a sandbox as a backyard and a bunch of methed out proles as neighbors would be terrible. |

Lots of proles in Arizona, and 30k millionaires in scottsdale, but if you're outdoorsy its 180 - tons of amazing hiking 9 months of the year. You can also drive north 2.5 hours and be in flagstaff, drive south 3 hours and go to Arizona's Beach in Mexico. Downtown Phoenix is actually pretty nice after downtown ASU campus brought money and attention to it. |
