depends on the wine. champagne has almost no sugar because of the secondary fermentation process that causes the bubbles. sweet white wine is like drinking syrup.

I've lost about 65 pounds so far through carb cutting and fasting, and I drink more than I did before. I drink a lot, but only neat liquor (occasionally seltzer), and I drink red wine, champagne, and dry white wine. no beer, no sweet wine, no mixers, no liqueurs.

I wouldn't touch any of that shit until you're fat adapted and you get the sugar addiction out of your system. I quit drinking completely and eliminated all sugar and grains out of my diet for the first month until my body finished induction.
