I know plenty who make in the 50s. I made 60. I see postings every day on Indeed where the pay is in the 50s. And I know multiple solos who had to quit because they couldn’t make any money & it was too stressful. Some got into drugs or booze, or got caught kiting money from their clients’ accounts, & ended up getting their licenses suspended.
Sad thing is that the general public has no idea. They think lawyer is a prestigious profession & that all attorneys rake in hundreds of thousands per year. |

If I had to guess I'd say 75-85K is pretty standard for semi-experienced shitlawyers. Not sure on average hours, but I'd guess most are working 45-60 hours per week. I'm not counting no-fault or foreclosure in this, that seems like a different world and I assume their lives suck shit. |
