Explain people who are "feeders"

Her kids, her husband are all overweight....she eats half or less of what they eat. When her daughter asks if she's fat, she lies and tells her she's not.
What kind of mentality is it where a mother starves herself but then feeds her family fat? |

She clearly has dual standards for herself and for her family.
But to do it to your own kids and lie to your fat daughter that she's not fat? Seems awful. I would think anorexics would also want their daughters to be slim as well. |
