Someone please correct me if I'm wrong (i'm not), but this is an omnibus bill and not a budget, right?
So during the Obama years they passed tons of these and he pretty much ignored them every time, spending money all over the place however he saw fit and it was completely legal, so why couldn't Trump just do the same thing, like "slow walk" funding to Planned Parenthood etc. while taking full advantage of the authorized spending for the military
Also couldn't the Army Corps of Engineers build the Wall and couldn't that come out of the military funding?
He always has a plan and never reveals it until it's already a foregone conclusion, and what happens every single time shitlibs start gloating and celebrating their latest "victory" over DRUMF

It’s a budget. Trump fucked up BIG TIME.
Rand Paul does a good job at getting into some of the problems on his Twitter page:
https://mobile.twitter.com/i/moments/976923452149035009
o $1m for the Cultural Antiquities Task Force
o $6.25m for the Ambassadors Fund for Cultural Preservation
o $20m for Countering Foreign State Propaganda
o $12m for Countering State Disinformation and Pressure
o $5m for Vietnam Education Foundation Grants
o $2.579m for Commission on Security and Co-operation in Europe
o $15m to USAID for promoting international higher education between universities
o $2.696bn for International Disaster Assistance
o $1.371bn for Contributions to International Organizations
o $51m to promote International Family Planning and Reproductive Health
o $7m promoting International Conservation
o $10m for UN Environmental Programs
o $1m for the World Meteorological Organization
o $218m for Promoting Democracy Development in Europe (yep..the birthplace of democracy needs promoting)
o $25m for International Religious Freedom
o $10m for disadvantaged Egyptian Students
o $12m for Scholarships for Lebanon
o $20m for Middle East Partnership Initiative Scholarship Program
o $12m in military funding for Vietnam
o $3.5m in nutrition assistance to Laos
o $15m in Developmental assistance to China
o $10m for Women LEOs in Afghanistan
On top of that, he barely got any funding for his wall. XO Ann Coulter, who is 3x smarter than Trump, says he should be impeached:
http://thehill.com/blogs/blog-briefing-room/379974-drudge-coulter-blast-trump-for-signing-spending-bill
And even Fox News was saying there was “no way to spin” this “huge defeat” for Trump:
https://www.theblaze.com/news/2018/03/23/no-way-to-spin-a-huge-defeat-for-trump-says-jesse-watters-in-scathing-commentary
In effect, he sold out to the Left, and got absolutely nothing in return. He looks like a bumbling fool.

Trump got handed a turd and realizing that dragging it out would be pointless and distracting signed it while making his displeasure known.
No, this will not insure Republican death in the 2018 midterms, because no one is going to remember this anymore than they remember Trump blowing up an unoccupied Syrian airfield. It will all be forgotten as bigger events overtake it:
1)The OIG Report should hit in a few weeks. If it's even half as explosive as rumors suggest it will give Trump the tools to significantly remake the political landscape.
2)We're doing all this again in 6 months mere weeks before the midterms, when Trump will be far less amenable ('Never again' he said as he signed this pile of hog-shit) and the increasingly frustrated electorate will be focusing on Congressional malfeasance.
Be of good cheer. Trump slapped the smarm off their pork-engorged faces and reminded them that he didn't get to where he is by taking shit like this lying down. This is merely a skirmish while the battle lines are being formed and I have no doubt on whose side I want be.

If you take these events in the most generous light possible (and you should admit that your OP and entire thread are 100% wrong), they indicate that Trump is completely incompetent and gave up every single policy priority to the Dems for 2018.
He's going into the midterms with virtually no funding for the wall, while giving the Dems all the money they want for their causes. A complete disgrace.
And while I really hope your #1 is right, it’s really our only chance. More importantly, it has absolutely nothing to do with Trump, thank God. I think he’d fuck it all up if he had any input at all in the process.

Here’s another article. OP is wrong, and this is effectively a budget. Trump might have signed his Presidential death warrant in signing this thing:
“Sure, there is increased military spending, but there's only chump change for the border wall, enough funding for only 33 miles on the U.S. southern border. Instead, Ryan's and McConnell's spend-a-thon provides $500 million for a 274-mile wall on Jordan's border with Syria and Iraq, along with a wall for Tunisia, too.”

What difference does the name make? The government is authorizing billions of dollars to be spent on shit like "women in the Afghanistan police force." This is an utter disgrace and betrayal of the American people.
Trump should've vetoed. This seems like it snuck up him (it shouldn't have), and he was left not wanting to be blamed for a government shut down. Personally, I will get over Trump's gaffe on this one, because I think he was truly unhappy and caught by surprise.
However, the GOP are a bunch of motherfucking traitors. I know some of them dislike Trump, but I can't believe they would intentionally embarrass him and fuck him over on the wall. Given how much retarded shit they are willing to spend money on, the fact that they won't legitimately fund a gigantic symbol that is very important to their base is telling.
I despise Paul Ryan and his ilk more than shitlibs. At least libs are honest about their hatred for America.
