I get that it doesn't say Thomas actually touched him with his hand, but it's implied. |

If the church had rigidly adhered to what scripture suggests about the afterlife, it wouldn't have become the Church. Most people want to believe the afterlife is a lot like their current lives--they don't want to think too much about passages like Mark 12:18–27.
