And here’s another one for the “pure evil” category—Jesse Pomeroy, a Boston serial killer of the late 19th century, who started off by stripping, whipping and torturing little kids. Then he escalated, killing a 10 year old girl and a four year boy (and maybe another 7 kids, it isn’t clear) before being brought to justice.

Pomeroy did all this between the ages of 12 and 14.
