Date: April 22nd, 2018 12:52 AM Author: Curious Bawdyhouse Was PD while I was in college. Another one of the undergrad officers was big into serial killers and was convinced one was active near us. I kind of wrote it off as him just enjoying the thought of it, as we used to listen to Art Bell and shit during night shifts, so I figured he just got off on the rush of it all.
Anyway,this is ~20 years ago, so websites like Craigslist don't exist, meaning people who are into swinging, S&M, etc. had to find each other through pulp rags printed/sold in sex shops. His theory was that this serial killer was probably a customer, so he started going into the handful of those places, learning about what was essentially an underground sex network (discovered one of the Prof's @ our school was big into it), and one day told me based on some convos with people in the scene that he thought the serial killer was in a nearby city and into S&M.
Two years after I graduated a serial killer was arrested about an hour away from our campus. I think at some point we probably drove past the guy's house following lead my friend had.

i was at one of his businesses once (well, one his family had an interest in), this was a mechanic shop. there was some noise out back in the alley, and he said "hey, i'm going to see what's going on, but here" and pulled open a drawer with a gun in it. i'm 16. he grabs this piece of metal pipe laying around and walks about back. i hear him beat the shit out of two homeless guys.
later on, he told me how he would cruise for street walkers, pick them up and be really nice, then smack the shit out of them and take their night's earnings. he'd call them fucking morons for trusting him.
he also ran whores out of two houses he rented. he'd get girls to trust him, get them to move in, then lock them in their room and deny them food and drugs and shit until they started tricking. if they didn't do drugs when they met him, they'd soon start, he'd give them coke when they said they were hungry, tell them it'd help them not be hungry and eat less.
white jewish dude with a lot of charm. his family had commercial property interests around town, shopping centers and shit. |
