I was listening to the Bill Simmons podcast this morning and he had Lamar Jackson - who scored a 13 on the Wonderlic and hired his mom as his agent - as his number two QB in the draft. He is praying that the Patriots draft him as Tom Brady’s heir apparent. Also suggested Baker Mayfield (71% completion percentage, 43-6 TD/INT Ratio last year, called the most accurate QB prospect they have ever evaluated by an NFL coach) be moved to WR. Unbelievable that this guy is viewed as a credible sports commentator.
1)Baker Mayfield He could become a Drew Brees-level QB in the right system.
2)Josh Rosen (Smart, great size/skills, tough, Poor man’s Aaron Rodgers potential)
3)Josh Allen (prototype size/physical tools, would have better numbers if he was at UCLA/USC type school, boom/bust prospect)
4)Sam Darnold (only 20, has the physical and mental tools to make it as a starter, throws too many picks and needs to sit behind someone for a couple years to develop)
5)Lamar Jackson (should be a marginal WR prospect)

Allen's accuracy and lack of prolific college stats worry me, but he probably has the most upside of any of these guys. I think any of those top-5 could end up as really good longterm NFL starters. Rosen is probably the most ready to step right in and run an NFL offense. Mayfield and Darnold are playmakers with all the intangibles. And Jackson is a physical freak.
I'd probably go Darnold, Mayfield, Rosen, Jackson and then Allen.
