RIP my wife's career: 2018-2018

Date: April 25th, 2018 11:38 AM Author: filthy hall My wife is now saying she “just doesn’t want to work for a while now” and has been going on rants about the indignities of wage cucking for a living. She alternates between saying that we need to forget about my career and move to somewhere rural with a low COL (where she will make the most money) and buy a house for cash so we aren’t beholden to employers to saying that she should just stay at home and maybe get a part-time gig in the future.
Really, I don’t have a problem with option number 2 if we can relocate to a lower COL state. But her list of states she will consider is vanishingly small. She found a job in my home state, which would be near my family and have a low COL, but it is too cold and high tax for her tastes. She wants to live someplace warm, with no or low state income taxes, that has lots of jobs for her that pay well and do not require call/weekends. Texas is too humid and expensive (in the few parts she would consider living, like Austin) and far from her family. Florida has a shitty job market and is filled with trashy people - requiring an expensive house to avoid them. Colorado is too cold and she doesn’t know anyone there. So basically she wants to move to someplace like Chattanooga and I guess I am supposed to open a small business or be a SAHD.

I have an hour of quality time with the kids and then all I want to do is either go workout, watch tv or read/watch/practice golf related stuff (which is my primary hobby).
At least she's not a psycho like Thunder Collins' wife. She's a good mom and we really never fight at all. |

You guys will move to flyover at some point, where she bitch and complain about your job not paying enough. At some point, you will likely want to cheat on her and maybe will - if she ever finds out she will either kill you or make your life a living hell for the rest of your life. The older she gets, the more controlling she'll get.
Also, at least 1 out of 2 of your kids will also have BPD.
Within a few years you will fall completely out of love with her, she will be ugly and won't make any money, and become more and more controlling and you'll wonder why you didn't listen to our advice in the first place. But at that point you will feel stuck and you will never leave her. Instead, you will die on your death bed wondering "what if", staring at the fat, ugly woman who controlled you for your entire life and who will outlive you for many years. |
