So, I am 35 now, and this happened around a decade ago. There was a huge party, a friend and I decided to go, as a semi hangout, semi test date confusing night thing. It went well, but she got super drunk, so at the end of the night I just made sure to get her home safe, then went home to pass out in my own bed and sleep off the big mistake of the night. That was when I learned not to let a hard drinking girl mix my drinks lol. Anyway, the next day she gets ahold of me in a huge panic, she woke up without any underwear on, and asked me what had happened to her, as she couldn't remember. I calmed her down, and reassured her that I got her home safe, and unless someone snuck into her place I locked when I left, nothing could have happened. After telling her that I was the one that got her home safe, she was calm. She said if I was the one that got her home, she knew nothing bad could have happened. I still get a smile of pride when I write that. The simple fact that she knew without any doubt that I wouldn't have ever done anything bad. It's years later and finding that out meant more to me than she has ever known. Oh, and for anyone wondering, she found her underwear in the bathroom a few minutes later, she had apparently drunkenly gone to the bathroom in the middle of the night, and just left them off, but she slept in her dress.

I understand your feelings. At a party when I was 23 we were all crashing in different parts of this big house. This girl I knew asked if she could sleep with me (not sexually) because she didn't know some of the dudes there and felt safe with me around. Made me feel pretty damn special to know she trusted me with her safety.

Ehh have had this happen to me as well usually I just give up the bed and Uber home. Now that I think of it, I believed I missed the point of asking me. I’m not the most cuddly guy nor do I like the heat. I produce enough as it is. The other reason is that a lot of the time it’s sexual advances even though I had a girlfriend at the time.

Had a couple guy friends in college like you. Literally spent nights in their beds, fully clothed but spooning for warmth and comfort, and them being complete gentlemen about it.

Looking back on it, I realize how lucky I was, given that there are so many horrible stories that start with "I thought I could trust him, he was my friend..." but at the time, it didn't even occur to me that they would try to hurt me.

Similar story: My best (girl) friend asked me to sleep next to a very drunk girl on her couch after an apartment party. No complaints from me!

Then some asshole lying on the other couch asks me, "Are you gonna hit that?" Made my fucking stomach turn and then I got why I needed to lie with her. Fuckin douchebag.
