i pressed her on explaining the second point about morality (because the notion that Volvo and Ikea will do better once Somalis are on the board of directors wasn't worth discussing). she kept repeating the morality point like a religious nut quoting scripture but she could not offer any explanation of the point and then she got angry at me. |

Pop music now seems to me to be more homogeneous -- it is all a version of modern R&B. That is "diverse" in that there is a lot of black influence, but it is not diverse in any real sense. Hard for me to explain in one poast, but modern "diversity" actually destroys true diversity. Whites in West Virginia are listening to Kanye or Carrie Underwood (who is basically a pop artist) not clog dancing or whatever the fuck. |
