I like that kind of layout and if KUL made a kb in that style with blacks I would've gotten it. As it is I still love their standard TKL keyboard, I got both it and the Code (used, because it's more expensive to begin with) to try out at the same time. I ended up selling the code for the same price I bought it, unless you really care about adjustable backlighting the KUL boards are way sturdier. They seem pretty underrated by the mechanical keyboard reddits and shit these days just because it's no longer a "hot new" company.
I don't think I've ever typed on browns though. Blacks are the only cherry switch I've ever preferred to buckling springs
