You most definitely have, which is precisely what makes it so difficult for legitimate applicants with legitimate disabilities to receive benefits. The "idiots" you came across are probably people who applied over and over, made phone calls over and over, complained like crazy, sought the assistance of SSI lawyers at their local legal aid organization, and basically just pushed like crazy until the system finally caved in and gave them benefits.
Do you see now why applying for disability--even for legitimate applicants--is such a prolonged and challenging process? |
