The original issue is that BS as I understand it made a point that men decrease in value as they age. The young women who date them do so for money. What I'm saying is money and status form a mans value and those things usually are acquired as a man ages. Up to a certain point no amount of money or status will prevail on a young woman because a man is just old and gross. I get that.

Men within a reasonable age and with good security will attract young women. It's as undeniable as what you wrote above. You make a point that it attracts the wrong type of woman. That's fine but it's a different point.

But I'll go into my own personal opinion of that. I like younger women because they look better and are less broken by the realities of this world. They are more compliant. My point is that older men can still attract quality young women far far far better than women can. It's undeniable that many women of all ages seek status and security. Men aren't quite like that. Women want security (money, skills, status) and good genes (beauty, fitness).

Fitness will generally decline with age (but not by much with good diet and exercise). Security markers generally rise.

So we have 18-55 men competing for 18-35 women. Obviously, young women can be much pickier than young men, leaving many young men single. As a man, unless you come from family money or already have some other markers of security while young, you can likely do better as you get older. Obviously only applies if your security markers are increasing faster than your fitness declines. But I'd say that's fairly common among health-conscious professionals.
