Its 70% office politics and 100% of the reporting you do is just to keep your job and not improve anything and your directs may hate you but your BS metrics are what keep them employed too. You basically fight more for them than they would ever believe. This shit is soul crushing. I miss being a mere VP. Everyone says VPs do more work but its real work. This shit is something else.
