One problem is, besides Oxbridge, European college prestige is pretty much nil in America. Probably better off just going to UC Irvine or whatever.

Americans all know LSE, but according to actual British people I know, there are apparently a number of other places (Imperial for one) that are considered more prestigious but are not well known to most average Americans.
