tl,dr: Tom Petty at 5'3" (and Prince at 5'1") both quietly suffered from traumatic hip injuries due to being short and playing hundreds (if not thousands) of shows strutting around in platform shoes. The chronic pain lead to painkillers lead to opioid addiction lead to death. Petty did his final tour (55 shows) on a fractured hip. JFC shorts, you're fucking done here. |
