To be fair,
Explain to me why this isn't reasonable? I want to be outraged but this, but given that SCOTUS has squarely held that non-citizen minors have a constitutional right to attend public (pre-college) educational institutions in areas where they reside (see Plyler v. Doe), and given that there are undoubtedly a ton of illegal kids in the SF public school system, why is it unreasonable to give the parents of those kids a right to vote in school board elections? If SF isn't going to do anything to kick these families out (they should but they clearly won't) and the federal government isn't willing to go in and round them up either (same), I think it's objectively better that these kids go to school vs. hanging around on the street and sell drugs or steal or whatever. And getting their parents involved and invested in the school system seems like a relatively positive thing against the shitty backdrop we're being forced to work with here. What am I missing?

I'm not passing judgment. I sort of agree with you.
But you're not going to convince me this won't get generalized into broader issues.
"why is it unreasonable to give illegals the ability to vote in local elections"
and down the slope we go
This is why they need to all go back

To be fair,
I'd actually like to see libs go down that slope, so if anything I see that as a perverse silver lining. But that's because I'm of the mind that things probably need to get a lot worse before there's a real catalyst to clean house.
But yeah, the real answer is--as always--that the Mayans need to go back.

To be fair,
They need to go back--but things also need to get worse before they'll really get significantly better. Trump is at best a bandaid on a festering and seriously infected wound, and we all know it. He's not the final solution to this cold civil cultural war we have brewing.
I'd rather see things get *much* worse very quickly (so people don't really have time to really adjust to the new levels of insanity and the reactionary movement can actually gain some steam) vs. watching things slowly crumble over many decades and allowing progressive generations to slowly acclimate to the banal horror of liberals' vision of the future. God willing, full chaos communism and forced reeducation of all whites by 2030 = death squads mowing down libs in the streets by 2040.
