In-house salary for prop trading firm?

Small legal dept. I'd be the second most senior. International presence. Daily matters would be part managerial and part dealing with random shit from HR issues, negotiations, compliance, to IP, etc. |

I have seen several firms get rapidly blown out by poorly-managed trading. The more sophisticated firms shield themselves very effectively from those types of events and then obscure their SEC violations just as effectively through a mix of technical complexity, plausible deniability, possibly bribes, etc. These latter firms will usually pay more.
