Sensors that detect and determine shift points got a lot more sophisticated and can "learn" better when to shift depending on your use of throttle, etc. rather than just relying on basic fixed calculation from RPM, speed, and throttle position. You don't need to mash the gas pedal anymore and wait 2 seconds to get a downshift. |
