the problem with tall girls is that any extra weight starts to give them a really masculine build. you also run into other issues too like broader shoulders and bigger feet. tall girls in high heels look ridiculous, but in flats they look like they have clown feet.

I would agree that there is a general preference for height though, in the same way that men prefer skinny or big tits.

Really the big problem is for short guys, guys who are 1+ SD below the mean. They have an incredibly tough time.

I've spoken to women of all ages, ethnicities, nationalities and heights and they all prefer tall men (up until a certain point, like 6'4). And whenever this comes up on xoxo all the female posters (aside from Julia) give the same answer.

again i'm not saying that women don't like height, just that it's not a linear thing. there is definitely a point of too much height, and for some girls they care more about the difference between their height and their guy's than the guy's absolute height, which i think makes total sense.

Models are exceptions, but this is why they are MODELS. Models are size 0 and 2 with thin bone structure - most tall women in IRL are big boned, with a big waist, and wear sizes 6+.
