I bought some more at 700 and decided, in order to avoid getting burned like I did in summer '17, that I would never sell again unless i had something I was saving for that i needed the money for.

On March 7th I offered 92,500 for a condo. The counter came back at 95. I decided to hold off, for a couple of reasons: to see if I could squeeze the seller a bit, as this was fresh on the market and I was the only bidder for the moment. Also, business was slowing down at work and I wanted to make sure I'd have enough cash after paying for title insurance and inspection and withdrawal fees to have a couple grand in checking when all was said an done.

At this point I had about 20k in cryptocoins and 70k in equities. I had 30k in a fraud01k but could only get half

of that until I left my job (which I did in May). Obviously the next day I was poorer, and the next day after that. The condo sold two weeks later. I was buying the dip. It bounced. I was ready to cash out at 800. Another condo came on the market, but 25k more expensive. I was close to affording it, I called about it on May 5th.

On May 6th, we'd left 800 behind for good. There were a lot of things I could have done differently. Could have sold and held some fiat until I got a couple of paychecks (business picked up in a fury in late March, so I'd have been fine to pay 95). Could have gotten a mortgage like a regular person and paid a few thousand in fees and "yield maintenance" or whatever.

What I actually did was keep buying the dip, until I now have virtually nothing left. So from June of 2017 on, every decision I've made has been wrong. This is one reason I have been struggling with suicidal urges a lot recently. I think there is something supernatural at work with me in particular. If I ever hope to get my money back I just need to keep buying until we get to an average that's low enough to one day break through.
