American BBQ doesn't get the credit it deserves. The stereotype is hamburgers and fries. But our BBQ can stand with anyone.
Pakistani gets lumped in with Indian but it's better
Afghan is an interesting mix of Persian/Pakistani, lots of meats and stews that are spicier than Persian but have more texture/flavor than Pakistani
Israeli I think gets unfairly grouped with pan-Middle Eastern. But they do some unique stuff and even their Middle Eastern dishes are relatively speaking pretty 180 |
