- middle seats: on busy routes, especially in mornings and early evenings, even if you are booking a week or two in advance, often the aisles and windows in the front half of the plane are taken. In those cases I'll often prefer a middle seat in Main Cabin Extra (more leg room and everyone is an efficient business traveler who deplanes quickly) over an aisle seat in the back third of the plane where lazy bewildered proles and babies sit. It's an extra 10-15 minutes to get off the plane back there. The other common scenario is to book a later flight but if ur schedule allows, hop on the earlier flight to get home a couple hours earlier. I'd gladly trade a better seat on a later flight for an aisle on an earlier one, but that's because I actually travel and the general rule is: if you can get home earlier, do it.

- "premium economy/biz": On AA, the 738s have a first class cabin and a few rows of "main cabin extra" aka premium economy (more leg room than regular coach, free drinks) plus the exit rows. Where did I say we weren't in premium economy? It is so unremarkable that no one would bother specifying "oh yeah I'm in premium economy." But the real giveaway that you are a back office AZN who jacks off to Vault consulting guides is that you think there's a "biz" class on a Boston-Chicago flight. "She's not in biz?" What? There are 16 first class seats on those planes and like 10x that many coach seats ... you'll have 10+ EXPs boarding after first class, 20+ in group 3 (Plat Pro/Plat), and half the plane in group 4 (Gold and I think certain credit cards).

Also, it is a hallmark of shitty poasting to accuse stuff of being flame and very revealing that the notion of a woman voluntarily talking to a man is so inconceivable in your mind.
