For comparisons to easy-street Cali law, this is a more than clear liability car wreck (head on collision and defendant paid ticket) with 25k in mostly ER meds.
Allstate offered $0 pre trial

Also in the middle of nowhere so that tends to move things along
We asked for 90k. 40k gets us all our attorney fees and I feel confident the jury will do that even in this jurisdiction where most people don’t make 40k a year. |

1. report to trial tomorrow. MAYBE get an assignment. get the assignment and be told to come back either Thursday or maybe even friday or next week.
Report on Thursday and do motions in limine. No juries yet.
Friday morning a jury comes in, jury selection lasts most of the day and maybe opening.
Monday: We present our case in its entirety almost.
Tuesday: Defense presents case and maybe closings.
Wednesday: Verdict.
For a simple fucking soft tissue case with only a few witnesses. |

Date: February 6th, 2020 3:22 PM Author: Bistre Den Rigpig So we got like 30k but they were offering $0 to start so it's a win. Plus we were in a super conservative venue against a really old white lady literally on her way to church.
Next trial starts 2 weeks from now in all likelihood. Better facts. 40k in meds. 125k in coverage. Best venue in the state. Will probably find a way to ask jury for 175-200k. |
