I will not offer a defense of app sluts as a class. That is simply the only realistic way for me to date given that I am antisocial and do not enjoy going out, and also live in a smaller city with generally weak dating prospects.

On the whole, app sluts are overwhelmingly terrible as relationship material. The decent chicks that end up on apps either pair off very quickly, or have a few bad experiences and quit. The ones who stay and try to grind it out become transformed into not-decent chicks by the grind. This effect means that only a very small percentage of chicks on apps are worthwhile.

Because that was the option available to me, I decided to grind it out myself and go through a bunch of bad chicks to meet a good one. It did work eventually. Recently I met the chick I'm probably going to marry. I was her very first tinder match and only date after installing the app, which validates the above analysis.

She's cute, athletic, not mentally ill, treats me better than anyone else I've dated, and sex is very good. Surprisingly, not a nerd in any sense but shows a lot of interest in my nerdy shit. Like, she will ask me for briefings on my Stellaris empires and have me keep saves before pivotal battles so I can reenact them and explain the tactics. And she likes horror movies but wasn't that educated in them so I've been showing her the key movies. Taking her through the New French Extremity Movement right now. Any chick who can sit through Martyrs and *praise* it is cool with me. We'll see what she thinks of a A Serbian Film though.
