I used gas for years but it would fail to start every spring and cost me $200/yr for tune ups, not including the hassle, waiting for someone to fix my mower right at the peak when everyone else wants it too.
New battery one is almost as powerful as my gas one. Virtually no power difference. Only thing it can't do quite as quickly is cut up 12+ inch piles of leaves - just have to take it a little more slowly. Otherwise no noticeable difference in power at all, particularly with just mowing lawn.
No maintenance, also quieter than gas. I highly recommend. Small engine gas machines of any kind are a huge hassle. |

I have one SUV with a 5.7L V8 and one with a 4.4L turbo V8. I'm getting a Cybertruck triple motor, so 0-60 in under 3 seconds and self-driving. This lawnmower is like that too. I dealt with gas mowers as a kid and this is dramatically better.
Also, the problems multiply when you consider that there's also a snowblower, a leafblower, a trimmer, etc. So what, everything gas? If anything is electric then why wouldn't I just go all in one ecosystem and share batteries (which, is what I did)? |

They do just fine on light snowstorms, but so does a shovel. There are all kinds of storms where I never bother busting out the snowblower because shoveling is just as easy and clears the snow better.
It's the big storms that you really need a snowblower for, and single-stage blowers choke on that shit and you end up shoveling anyway. Just pointless and gay and retarded
