Money is extremely tight now, and there are lots of stressors, but I am getting more and more comfortable with my life. I like my little family. Always worried about what’s going to happen to my family, and making enough, but doing the best we can. It’s a real struggle at times. Edit: as an FYI - I am 39 and NW is about $530,000 |

in a typical year your take home after all deductions and retirement savings should be around 5.5K per month. minus 2K~3K for housing/utilities/property tax so u are barely making it with around 3K for childcare, food, entertainment, gas and other expenses
