The conservatives are a mix of 1) white collar guys that had blue collar dads and 2) catholic schoolers, with some overlap between them. They have this problem because both obsess over basketball+football so their daughters, with the exception of some very religious girls and the academic-obsessed strivers, spread their legs for anyone with a varsity jacket and a pulse. The catholic schools compound the issue by giving scholarships to the top players from detroit high schools to play for them.
To be fair it's more of a sports fetish than a racial one. From experience, if you're a good center or offensive tackle you can be an obese pizzaface autist and hot chicks will go out of their way to hit on you.

Plus the Salt Lake City metro area basically sprawls from Brigham City to Nephi these days. I wouldn't consider Ogden or any other towns in the area to be "small" unless you consider smaller suburbs of any major city to be small. If you want a small town in Utah, I recommend Logan. It's separated by a mountain range from the Salt Lake metro area so it has more of a small town feel. The scenery is beautiful, the outdoor recreation options are first-rate, crime is basically non-existent, and the presence of the university means you get more cultural/entertainment options than you would expect in a small, isolated town. It will be a cultural shock if you aren't Mormon, though, and the Mormons tend to be insular and not super friendly to non-Mormons. Cedar City and St. George are also credited options in Utah, although they are even more isolated.
