It has a fold-out touchscreen that you can aim 90 degrees upward, so even if you see that I'm holding a camera, it will look like I'm fiddling with settings or something when actually I'm photographing the fuck out of you. I've used this to great effect when visiting foreign countries where I stick out.
Burst mode is also 180 any time you're photographing something in action. If you have a large and fast enough SD card you can shoot 50 pics and pick the best one. I love the way Olympus handles colors too, though I think I like Fuji even more. |

The fastest you get on Fuji is the 56mm f/1.2. The 16mm f/1.4 and 23mm f/1.4 and 35mm f/1.4 are the only other lenses faster than f/2. They have a 50mm f/1.0 coming out this year.
The best looking lens is actually the 90mm f/2.0, but it needs plenty of light.
I haven't tried the Fuji pancake which is a 27 f/2.8, since the 35mm f/2.0 is almost as small but can handle portrait. It also produces images that look extremely natural, especially with Fuji colors. After shooting with Fuji for a while, Nikon color balance just looks disgustingly warm.
I pretty much just stick to the 35mm f/2.0, but if I can find a reason I eagerly swap it for the 90mm.
Multiply all these numbers by 1.5 to get their full frame equivalents. |
