The clarity, compassion, and courage of Catholic Saints is truly on another level. St Josemaria for example is unbelievable. As in, you don't believe someone can be that lucid, and yet you watch him speak and he really is that lucid... supernaturally so.
Or like Peter Kreeft said when encoutering a Gothic Church for the first time (St. Patrick's in NYC in his case), if Catholicism is wrong, how did they get beauty so right? |

St ignatius Loyola heavily influenced my thought on the devil, who he simply calls the enemy. He’d say the enemy is most certainly working in your every day life. And that you should stop, frequently, and ask for the grace to discern his workings. As a former soldier he took a very militaristic approach to spiritual warfare.
