When debating Republicans, he carries on like he's back in the schoolyard, bullying less Cool boys and lapping up praise from onlookers. When facing Democrats it's like he's debating the high school principal about whether he should be expelled. He's just far too tense, as though the stakes being higher psyches him out and he loses his charisma/charm. And he can't completely turn off the Trump-isms either so he still he some self-pwns here and there which stand out because he wants to be Serious. JMO. |
