You may think this is bullshit but look at how hard it is drilled into women's head that sex is transaction, you give it because you want something (attention from a stud, securing commitment from a boyfriend, lavish gifts or lifestyle, etc.). Keep in mind it's not just the act of sex, it's the promise or possibility of sexual attention. |

I found that not only was my libido low on the pill, but reactivity to stimulus was low too. I couldn't believe what a difference it was after stopping the pill.
The hormonal IUDs (especially kyleena) are a bit better b/c they act directly on the ovaries so it's a lot less hormone. Still probably better if she can be off it altogether for a bit to see how it goes before jumping into something else though. |

Not usually a fan of books like this but it makes some great points. Eg for men sex is also about self esteem. We tie our worth to getting laid, especially from are wife.
