The Michelson-Morley experiment, and all subsequent experiments, demonstrated the earth is stationary and not rotating. Because scientists refuse to believe the heavens revolve around us, we had to invent the ridiculous Relativity theory to explain the results.

Because our current model of the universe is wrong, scientists had to invent the ridiculous 'dark matter' concept as a fudge factor.

Because we believe the earth is revolving around the sun, the method of measuring star distance, parallax, is giving totally bogus results that are massively too large. All other methods of measuring stars further out is rooted in bogus parallax measurements.

Because we mistakenly believe stars are unimaginably far away and accelerating away from us, we believe the universe must be billions of years old and ultimately came about from a single point.

Because there's no scientific way to explain how the complexity of life could come about, scientists had to invent the ridiculous and hand-wavy evolutionary theory.

Because evolutionary theory requires immense time, scientists had to assume a very old earth.

Because a 'recent' global flood would throw a wrench in evolutionary theory, and there is no acceptable replacement or modification for it, geologic gradualism is accepted, though completely wrong.

etc. etc.

This ultimately stems from scientists rejecting God and all conclusions that confirm our special place in the universe.

about dating things, carbon dating works if you assume a certain decomposition percentage for the carbon, but otherwise its just a result of getting a formula from a differential equation that involves carbon half-life. its pure math, there is no wizardry there. the earth is truly that old. it is at least millions of years old, or even hundreds of millions. its definitely though billions years old, no denying that. i believe the scientists, why would they lie?

now as to the theory of evolution, i dont quite believe in it myself. it seems to explain itself. and the method by which it works, random mutations because of cosmic rays or something like that, some space bound anomaly, is total nonsense. at the base of the theory is a joke of an explanation. evolution does happen, but it does not explain itself, adaptation by natural selection is a horseshit answer in my opinion. totally circular.

as to the theory of general relativity, one thing for sure is that space and time are not some inclusive 4 dimensional space, space and time are seperate and different dimensions. the three dimensions of space are one thing, and the dimension of time is another. however, they can be combined into a mathematical abstraction of a 4-dimensional space, or manifold as they call it, and from there on you can bend it i guess as if bending a surface, and you get some kind of non-euclidean geometry happening that covers the fact that lengths change near a strong gravity field, or that it bends the pathway of objects towards them, even light, which travels in a straight line always in normal euclidean geometry, it never, ever bends in the geometry that can be visualized. the thing about noneuclidean geometry, and reimennian geometry, the one used in general relativity, is that it cannot be visualized at all, and all attempts at graphic representation are just that, they are not actual images of non-euclidean geometry. but, einstein's predictions of his theory have all come out to be true, but there is some kind of mathematical trickery happening. the imagination does not follow into that realm. same with quantum mechanics, where the situation is even worse. gravity doesnt bend any spacetime fabric, that is such a laughinstock of a visualization. its pure mathematics. mathematical relations that translate to numbers that match observables in our regular, euclidean geometric, world -- thats all abstract physics, or modern physics, really is.

can you give some examples or elaborate further, if not flame? i am far from a scientist, attempted to read a few popular works here and there, and couldnt get through anything with math in it. just a regular joe here. i dont understand science at all basically as it is understood by scientists. too much math. beyond doing arithmetic on polynomials and possibly rational expressions and some basic euclidean geometry i am totally lost. i dont even understand logarithms. i barely know the very, very rudiments of trigonometry. to me anything that involves a trigonometric expression in some math formula is like a magic trick where someone pulls a rabbit out of a hat. how the heck did that enter there? i get how the basic trigonometry of the circle and right triangle works, but beyond that, no clue how they do that. and they do it a lot. so i dont get a lot. not to mention calculus. i get how differentiation and integration work in theory, dont remember the specific rules, but it seems to me a lot more is going on when they pull the integrals out of a hat all over the place, or the differential equations like they are supposed to mean something to me. and then there are all sorts of exotic integrals that i never came across in calculus in high school, we only learned about the basic one where its a summation of infinity of rectangles that diminish to nothing in the limit. there is too much math in science. maybe not in chemistry or biology, but in physics it's nothing but one long COMPLICATED math equation.

the entire edifice of science is built upon a philosophically naive idea of truth as some stationary, objective target, but there's no such thing. there are just individual's sensory perceptions, about which some rough degree of social consensus is reached by sharing those perceptions through the rather narrow, unstable, and infinitely manipulable funnel of language. we then reify the linguistic artifacts of that social "truth" as some free standing reality.

i have a good quote on that.

"The Ethiops say that their gods are flat nosed and black

While the Thracians say that theirs have blue eyes and red hair.

Yet if cattle or lions or horses had hands and could draw

And could sculpture like men, then the horses would draw their gods

Like horses, and cattle like cattle, and each would then shape

Bodies of gods in the likeness, each kind, of its own.

The gods did not reveal from the beginning,

All things to us; but in the course of time,

Through seeking, men find that which is the better...

These things are, we conjecture, like the truth.

But as for certain truth, no man has known it,

Nor will he know it; neither of the gods,

Nor yet of all the things of which I speak.

And even if by chance he were to utter

The final truth, he would himself not know it:

For all is but a woven web of guesses."

-Xenophanes

Realism is not naive. It is the best explanation for the “unreasonable effectiveness” of mathematical physics.

They shot two beams of light 90 degrees apart in an ultra sensitive apparatus. Depending on how these beam paths lined up with the path of the supposedly moving earth, the difference in timing for each beam to complete its path would correspond to the velocity of the earth. No matter how the beams were oriented, there was no difference in the timing.

This absolutely baffled scientists for years, and it took Einstein's ridiculous theory to finally have *some* kind of explanation, however fantastical.

No matter how much evidence there is of a stationary earth at the center of the universe, the scientific community will never, ever allow themselves to consider the possibility.

We thought we were measuring "cosmic microwave background radiation," because until a few years ago we didn't know the sun created a magnetic heliosphere:

https://www.nasa.gov/feature/goddard/2021/studying-the-edge-of-the-sun-s-magnetic-bubble/

Libs still aren't ready to accept this. You don't hear Neil DeGrasse Tyson talking about it. Every physicist on earth "trusted the science" on CMBR and now they are being exposed as shitheads, no smarter than medieval church officials.
