obviously there is a strong correlation between intelligence and passing the bar, but with thousands of people taking the bar every year it's a statistical certainty that some smartmos will fail. especially with so many "smart but lazy" types that assume they can wing it. |

The UBE MC section requires seeing/answering a big volume of practice questions to get the general patterns down so you can answer in the ~90s or so you get per question.
If anything, it forces a lot of people to just be time disciplined and pick an answer in 90s and move on. Guessing and going isn't natural for some. |
