For tactical usage, you can't beat peltor comtacs. If you're going to be running more than one radio, or running radio comms in conjunction with an EUD that will be running its own network, get a dual comms capable model. The Comtac 3, 5, 6, and 7 are all great (the 4 is weird). Find a PTT adapter that will interface with the peltors and your radio of choice (anytone 878 is a great choice for tactical applications for a variety of reasons), and you're good to go. I like having two sets: one helmet mounted (I like the opscore amp arms) and one normal on a band, so I can run comms whether or not I've got kit and NODs on.

180! I use their 3M Tac-500 for my ear protection. For some reason I've never seen anyone else use Peltor.

They're pretty ubiquitous in the high end tactical world, especially if you want to run radios.

If you want to use opscore amp arms with them (which is my preferred helmet mounting solution), you can use these adapters: https://www.amazon.com/COM-RAC-AMP-Adapters-Peltor-Comtac/dp/B0B149MTN7

What kind of radio setup do you have/are you looking at?
