Higher end comp at megacorps and (at least until recently) top end tech companies is like 400k+ for directors, 500k+ (up to 700k+ in some cases) for VPs, but you don’t get to seven figures until your are an SVP and typically would have to be a direct report to the GC. GC can make shitloads, though, like 10M+ is not that rare and under 3M is shitty. At that level the other C suite comp packages and the Securities law requirements to publicize them put a lot of upward pressure on GC comp.
