Husband come to terms with our sexless marriage
This is not what I wanted.We have been fighting a lot more lately. He complains about me not being appreciative or affectionate enough. Thing is how do I show I am appreciative other than sex or affection? Or does he just want more sex? I am a sahm to two kids. Financially we are doing good. I cook, clean and do all his laundry, pretty much everything around the house. He works a lot but is a great dad and usually a good husband. I am just too tired usually to even think about sex. Normally it’s about once a week which I thought was good, but we have hit a dry patch and it’s been a month. Every time we get in a fight it how I am not appreciative. I feel that I show that everyday by cooking and cleaning and taking care of the kids, but I guess not. He’s been acting weird the last few days and I finally confronted him. He said I’ve come to terms that we will have a sexless marriage. It’s only been a month. Then he goes into the I am not appreciative for everything. Then he always has to ask or initiate first when it comes to sex. Which is true, usually about the sex. I am kind of flabbergasted. I know it’s been awhile for sex but we’ve been sick and then we had family over for thanksgiving. Not sure what to do. I tried to have sex but he didn’t want pity sex. Which it wouldn’t be. But he didn’t want to. I suggest marriage counseling which he said he would try, but he kind of wants to go alone…. I thought that was weird too. Help!!! |
