GREG HIRSCH, caught off guard, looks around the empty office in disbelief.
GREG (stammering) Tom, I... Are we really doing this?
Tom grins, that old, predatory gleam in his eye.
TOM (snickering) Yes, Greg, we are. Now, squeal like a pig.
Greg sighs, falling onto all fours and letting out a half-hearted pig noise. He crawls slowly across the floor. Tom follows, occasionally swatting Greg's backside with a rolled-up newspaper.
TOM (shouting, laughter in his voice) Louder, Greg! Squeal louder!
The sound of Greg's squeals echoes through the office, a bizarre and surreal sight under the cold, corporate lights.
The camera pans out, showing the absurdity of the scene - a CEO and his executive playing out a strange power game in an empty office late at night.

Ken misplayed it by actually addressing her bs reasoning, instead of pushing it aside: You were betraying Roman and I as recently as a few days ago, and now youre doing it again.
In point of fact, had Ken been smart he would have had Roman AND Shiv call in their votes, just to avoid any and all emotion that comes in the office.
The irony, oc, is that Logan told him he could not be CEO because he WASNT a killer.

This interpretation isn’t based on anything in the show itself, it’s pure speculation. Nothing in the show suggests that she’s scared of a scandal. We don’t know why exactly she asked for reconciliation.
The entire purpose of the final scene in the car with Shiv and Tom is to show them reconciled with Tom now the dominant partner. |
